The Guide is a fabulous combination of history with cultural history - and some of your personal history as well. I also love the photo on the front cover of Julia Williams Wadsworth, Ex-Slave, photo from 1937/1938. I see so much strength - and so much pain - in her face. She almost looks surprised that someone is taking her picture. Thank goodness they did. The photos throughout the Guide are wonderful!
Thank you for creating such a beautiful, meaningful, and helpful package. I’m so very glad I ordered two copies! I look forward to sharing them with my colleagues and friends.
