12 Noon - 6 pm:
You'll get settled into the retreat location and meet your "sister" colleagues for an exciting action-packed experience. You'll work directly with Carole Copeland Thomas, an experienced speaker, trainer and executive coach, who has run many events and retreats in her 32 years of business! Carole and her team will establish the framework of the retreat and begin the process of working with you to design the right strategic plan in order to reach your objectives.
There will be time for fellowship with your retreat colleagues, as well as leisurely exploring the beautiful grounds surrounding Loon Pond.
We'll work with you to set the stage for Day Two as you crystalize your focus for the rest of the retreat.
A delicious lunch and snacks await you upon arrival and we'll have suggestions for dinner in the surrounding areas.
10 am - 6 pm:
You're off and running! This is where we tackle the most vital part of our game plan by eliminating your challenges and obstacles and reaffirming your confidence and skill sets. We'll work off and on throughout the day by stimulating the vision for your project, business plan or personal development agenda by teasing out the essence of your goals and objectives.
Carole and her team work with you helping you to set realistic yet ambitious mile markers on your path to success. You'll energize yourself by taking a nature walk around Loon Pond or even swing on the swing set right in the sports activity area on the grounds! Who knows where your next winning idea will come from while you're staying the course and fortifying your spirit to soar!
Day Two includes a hearty continental breakfast, snacks, and a delicious lunch. We'll have suggestions for dinner in the surrounding areas.
10 am - 4 pm:
Your excitement is building as you marvel at all of the work you have done over the past two days! It's all coming together and you know that your time at the retreat has been well spent.
Carole and her team continue to work with you helping you to set realistic yet ambitious mile markers within your gameplan. One more nature walk around Loon Pond gives you the energy to complete your objectives while concentrating on what you will do once you leave the retreat.
You complete not only your personal roadmap, gameplan or strategic endeavor, you also know exactly what's in store for you over the next 90 days. All while working in this small group setting!
Day Three includes a hearty continental breakfast, snacks, and a delicious lunch. We'll also have a very special closing ceremony to make this experience one to remember.

Carole has been a business owner for 32 years! She's also a mom, grandmother and active in a wide range of civic and social justice activities.
As an award-winning speaker, trainer and global thought leader, since 1987, Carole Copeland Thomas moderates the discussions of critical issues affecting the marketplace. She has her pulse on the issues affecting working professionals and regularly consults with industry leaders. She has spent 32 years cultivating relationships and partnerships with local, national and international sponsors, including Walmart, Amtrak, and Emirates Airlines. Carole is the past president of The National Speakers Association -New England Chapter and is on the leadership team of Black NSA. Carole is a blogger and social media enthusiast using various technology platforms to enhance her business development activities.
Carole never stops learning! She graduated with honors in 1975 from Emory University. She entered graduate school in 1983 (on a Martin Luther King, Jr. academic fellowship), and received her MBA degree from Northeastern University in Boston. She received her Certified Diversity Meeting Professional Designation, CDMP, from the International Association of Hispanic Meeting Professionals in 2011. Her most recent designation was awarded in 2015: Certified International Tour Manager, CITM, from the International Guide Academy. She tied as the top student of her graduating class.
Carole has been featured in the New York Times, Boston Globe, Black Enterprise, ABC Radio, and CBS News. She is the author of four books and is the Past National Vice Chair of the National Black MBA Association
Carole is the mother of three children: Dr. Lorna Thomas Farquharson (husband Jerome), Michelle Thomas Monteiro (husband Alberto), and the late Mickarl D. Thomas, Jr. She does her best to spoil her granddaughters Julianna Gwendolyn Farquharson and Gabrielle Jaeda Farquharson.
The Loon Pond Lodge is located within the historic Ted Williams Camp in Lakeville, Massachusetts. The charming venue recently renovated is perfectly equipped for hosting the Three Day Women's Retreat. The lodge overlooks Loon Pond and the large gazebo located directly on the water is a special spot for this tranquil and scenic multi-day event.
